Missions is the heartbeat of Morningside. Currently Morningside supports over seventy foreign and home missionaries and mission projects. We not only support our missionaries through our finances but also through prayer, support, and encouragement. Over the years a large part of our giving to missionaries has been through our Morningsiders promising by faith to support the work of missions.

Realizing that our responsibility for missions is around the corner and around the world, Morningside has become actively involved in church planting here in the United States. We also are actively involved in evangelistic and missions projects in the Greenville area.

We stress an active participation of Morningsiders in the work of missions. As our church families are exposed to the work of missions during our missions conference as well as missionary speakers throughout the year, the burden for souls intensifies. Each year we have a large number of Morningsiders who participate in mission trips. The most encouraging aspect of Morningside missions is when men and women from Morningside surrender for missionary service. We have seen God richly bless us by calling several Morningsiders to the mission field.
