Our youth department, consisting of 7th - 12th grades, offers a variety of programs, activities, and opportunities to meet the spiritual, physical, mental and social needs of teenagers.

Pastor Jeff Webb believes that there is no substitute for dynamic, relevant preaching from God's Word. The greatest decisions that a teenager can make are to receive Christ as one's Savior, to dedicate oneself to Christ, to submit to God-given authorities, and to keep oneself pure and unspotted in this world system. Morningside offers girls and boys classes on Sunday morning. Each summer the high school teens take a summer mission trip. There is also teen visitation as well as ministry opportunities that provide experience for teens in preparation for Christian service.

Activities include an annual ski trip, overnight youth conferences, youth retreats, summer camps, Carowinds and Six Flags Over Georgia trips, white water rafting, water wars, Neighborhood Bible Time, Farm Fest, All-Night activities, skating, bowling and Sunday-Night-After-Church afterglows (S.N.A.C.'s).

Morningside believes that young people are the future of both the church and the nation. Therefore Morningside provides opportunities for young people to develop their social graces in group settings that promote healthy attitudes with high standards. Young people are challenged to live for a cause that is greater than they are.
